About Qaltic
Qaltic Project Management in a UK-based consultancy which grew out of the pressing need for programme management in the ISP industry during the boom times leading up to the Internet stock bubble in 2000. At that time ISPs were rapidly accumulating dial up customers, and there were huge pressures from all sides of the business to develop new and exciting internet products for the growing customer base, as well for simultaneous enhancements to creaking backoffice systems.
With the subsequent decline in stock markets, ISPs entered a new phase of rationalisation and acquisitions, as creating mass market products seems the route to maintaining profitability. Under such circumstances, again, there was an even stronger need to prioritise and control only the most cost-effective projects.
